ICAEW student gets amazing 94% on Corporate Reporting paper

Wednesday 20 December 2023

Anna Strickland, an audit assistant at KPMG in the Crown Dependencies, recently completed her final ICAEW exams and became ACA-qualified. In her final paper, Corporate Reporting, she achieved the truly excellent result of 94%.

Rory Gordon, ICAEW Programme Manager at BPP International Finance, commented:

"The ICAEW is a highly-respected professional accountancy qualification that requires students to complete a series of exams.

The Corporate Reporting exam is one of the toughest in the whole ICAEW qualification covering advanced financial reporting and audit so achieving 94% really is a fantastic result and a testament to the hard work and dedication of Anna.

Additional thanks goes to the Corporate Reporting tutoring team here at BPP for assisting with their technical expertise and extra support, as well as KPMG for the underlying framework that enables so many of their students to achieve success."

I am delighted to have passed all ICAEW exams on my first attempt with BPP, achieving 94% in one of my finals (Corporate Reporting).

I am confident that I would not achieved such results without BPP's outstanding support & teaching methods. What truly sets BPP apart from other training providers is its support system. Whenever challenges arose, the availability of tutors to assist with questions, big or small, demonstrated their commitment to student success.

Having graduated with a degree in environmental & social Geography, taking up a training contract in audit with KPMG represented a fresh challenge, to deepen my understanding of business & the financial services industry.

KPMG's commitment to the development of its staff has created a learning environment in which I have been able to effectively balance work & study. They have provided dedicated time to allow study, both independently & with the support of BPP in structured classroom courses.

Overall, I am grateful to both KPMG & BPP for their support over the past 3 years. Both have been instrumental in my success & provided invaluable experience to further my professional growth.
