Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)
There are over 1.7m chartered accountants and students around the world − talented, ethical and committed professionals who use their expertise to ensure we have a successful and sustainable future. Over 150,000 of these are ICAEW Chartered Accountants. We train, develop and support each one of them so that they have the knowledge and values to help build local and global economies that are sustainable, accountable and fair. We’ve been at the heart of the accountancy profession since we were founded in 1880 to ensure trust in business. We share our knowledge and insight with governments, regulators and business leaders worldwide as we believe accountancy is a force for positive economic change across the world.
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

We have more than 208,000 fully qualified members and 503,000 students worldwide. They're among the world’s best-qualified and most highly sought-after accountants - and they work in every sector you can imagine.

The Chartered Governance Institute
We support our members in organisations of all sizes across all sectors of the economy, including large corporates, SMEs, the public sector and charities. We are the only organisation to confer Chartered Secretary and Governance Professional status on those who are suitably qualified and experienced. Established in 1891, our knowledge and expertise is rooted in history and we continue to lead current thinking and practice.
We have a worldwide presence, with about 34,000 members and students in 80 countries. The UK, Republic of Ireland and Associated Territories division (UKRIAT), directly represents around 14,000 members and students.
The Chartered Governance Institute also offers professional subscription to professionals without chartered status who work in governance roles, enabling them to access The Chartered Governance Institute’s expertise, resources and networking opportunities.
CFA Institute
CFA Institute is the premier global association for investment management professionals. The organization offers the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a credential held by over 150,000 professionals around the world. The charter gives a strong understanding of advanced investment analysis and real-world portfolio management skills.
The CFA Program is a self-study, graduate-level program divided into three levels of exams. Passing these exams is one step to becoming a CFA charterholder.
The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI)
The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment is the largest and most widely respected professional body for those who work in the securities and investment industry in the UK, as well as a growing number of major financial centres round the world. Formed in 1992 by the London Stock Exchange practitioners, it now has more than 40,000 members in 89 countries.
