Bookkeeping elearning

This course helps delegates learn why financial statements need to be prepared for a business, the underlying concepts and understanding the definitions of elements within the financial statements. The course focuses heavily on understanding and creating simple double-entry bookkeeping with lots of practice and examples.

Course content

• Introduction to the underlying concepts of financial statements
• Introduction to the fundamental concepts of double entry
• Examples of some basic bookkeeping of transactions and practice
• Summary of the process from bookkeeping to financial statements

The course aims to give staff induction training to new starters, or to update existing employees’ training.
