SPEAKER

Nicola Crowell, Director & Co-founder of Cyan
	Nicola worked at the Jersey Financial Services Commission for almost ten years, starting in Supervision before moving to the Enforcement Division. She led many JFSC examinations as well as specialising in complex regulatory cases and investigations, thereby gaining significant experience in the practical application of regulation. Working at Cyan allows Nicola to draw upon her experience as a regulator to help clients meet the challenges of the increasingly complex and demanding regulatory environment. She combines her expert knowledge with a liberal dash of common sense and pragmatism to achieve effective and compliant results for Cyan’s clients. Nicola particularly enjoys providing hands-on support to compliance functions, designing tailored controls and delivering clear and practical responses to technical queries. Since co-founding Cyan with Chris Cooke, she has relished the variety of work for clients of all shapes and sizes and across all the different sectors of the finance industry. Nicola is a member of the Institute of Directors, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, the International Compliance Association and the Jersey Compliance Officers Association.
