Laura Miller is CI ACCA Programme Manager & Senior Tutor

I worked as a freelance tutor for BPP throughout 2012 and then joined BPP full time in January 2013 as a tutor and became ACCA & FIA Programme Manager in 2014. During that time I have progressed to teach a variety of financial reporting and financial management papers across all qualifications. Whilst at BPP I have also completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Professional Higher Education.

I previously worked at an international retail company in the Finance department and was responsible for preparing monthly and annual accounts and liaising with the external auditors. It was during this time that I qualified as an accountant with ACCA. My role then changed when I moved to the Management Accounting Team. Here I was responsible for preparing and distributing monthly management accounts for various parts of the business. I was also involved in the budget setting process. A key part of my role was communicating and liaising with non-finance departments to ensure all parties understood their figures and responding to queries.
