David joined BPP in 2024, following a twenty-year career in international finance and asset management, commencing when he started work at Barings as a Graduate Trainee.

He brings to his classes a wealth of experience at the sharp end of Public Market governance and leadership on both the Junior and Premium London Stock Exchange, gained in the most turbulent and challenging markets – the sort of understanding that cannot be learned from a book.

David is one of very few Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants on the Isle of Man, and this specialism is really helpful in creating the “light bulb” Management Accounting moments that add value for his ACCA and ICAEW students.

David likes smart people who disagree with him.
